Leading W.A Funk muso’s come together for a night of FUNK, JUNK and Mutants as a Fun’Raiser for the campaign to reinstate the Ban on Uranium Mining in Western Australia.
David Rastrick will be launching his new song “Yellowcake Shake” and will also be featuring new songs from his latest double album "Rise Up In Love" which is a fusion of reggae/world-jazz, ska, hip-hop and funk styles – made for dancing to satisfy the soul!
Junkadelic will also be joining the party: they have recently incorporated a Brass Big-Band Ensemble. Having toured all over WA and overseas to China these guys are at the head of their game combining self-made junk percussion, horns, vocals and anything else they can find to make music from. They are in high demand and know how to bring a party ... and of course an environmental message.
Mutant Fashion show with an incredible prize for best FUNKED up mutant. So come dressed for the most funked up Mutant party to ever happen in Fremantle.
