Bio
I am a full-time freelance writer whose Green Living articles can be found across the web. I am a Featured Green and Featured Crafts contributor for Associated Content, a Green Wise columnist for Handmade News, a writer for Environmental Graffiti, and the only Coral Gables Green Living writer for Examiner.com

Additionally, I run my own green living website Ecobellus.com where I combine my passion for writing and my desire to live a healthier more sustainable life. Ecobellus, like my journey into green living, is a work in progress that I hope to turn into a green business someday.

What advice would you offer a non-green person?
Start small. Trying to change your entire lifestyle in one fell swoop is overwhelming.

Educate yourself first and take it from there.
Name a couple of your green actions.
I write green living articles across the web, I gave up coffee and only drink organic tea, I'm making an effort to buy organic food and use my reusable shopping bag, I work from home which cuts out commute, and I am trying to educate myself as much as possible.
Favorite Films?
Oh my, this is tough. I have a soft spot for old films.
Favorite Recording Artist?
Again, another difficult question. This all varies depending on my mood but I am currently into Florence + the Macine, Explosions in the Sky, and Boards of Canada.

For three years of my college career I woke up every morning in the Florida Everglades. I would look outside my dorm window and see miles worth of sawgrass, water, and blue skies. On my way to class, alligators would follow me with their eyes and snakes would sometimes say hello. Students would occasionally see a panther during their midnight run and deer were… Continue

If you read the About section of Ecobellus then you know that I went backpacking in Europe right after graduating from college. The trip was unexpected but necessary. You see, I had somehow turned into a huge control freak the last couple of years I was in college and managed to lose sight of the important things in life. I was having panic attacks because things would not go according to… Continue

5 Craft Projects for Glass Jars

I am most certainly going to have to try making my own infused vodka.

Many kitchen essentials come in jars: pasta sauce, jam, jelly, pickles, the list goes on. But these jars serve more purposes than just keeping your food safe, they can also be used for a plethora of craft… Continue
