A true Texan at heart, Kimberly has worked as a VP of Sales for fashion brands such as Development, Chaiken, Trina Turk, Rozae Nichols, Nuala by Puma and Christy Turlington and Rachel Roy to name a few. After 16 years in the industry, she a new experience. In October 2008, Kimberly embarked on 3 ½ month odyssey, which took her to several destinations throughout India and South East Asia including stops in Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Through her extensive travels, she not only discovered new land and cultures, but in the process, the universe presented her with new opportunities. She realized her next pursuit in life. The creation of a collection using indigenous handcrafted materials to create products that represent and share the stories of all the working crafts women that she met on her travels and the traditions that they've passed down from generation to generation. This is the tale of the birth of JADEtribe, a line that debuted in February 2009.

What advice would you offer a non-green person?
  Our world is changing, and we must grow and evolve with this changing world by making educated decisions for ourselves and our families.
Name a couple of your green actions.
Unplug appliances not in use. Replace light bulbs with environmentally friendly ones. WALK, rollerblade or ride my bike as much as possible. Refuse plastic bags, always carry a canvas bag for purchases. Recycle. Donate clothing to thrift stores. Reduce my use of plastic water bottles. Just launched JADEtribe!
