Kate Dillon and I would like you to join us for an evening of conversation, education and shopping. We will be showing images from the Global Run for Komera and Kate will be on hand to discuss this wonderful organization. We will be selling limited-edition t-shirts designed by Caitlin Mociun, with all proceeds benefitting Komera. Kaight will be donating 20% of the evenings sales to Komera scholarships! I am just a your typical granola girl from Boulder, Colorado. My passion in life is for beautiful, innovative and luxurious design, fashion and food. I am an eco-obsessive compulsive and spend a lot of time finding products to support my addiction. My other issues revolve around designing interiors, admiring other designers, craft making, reading, running, yoga and massive traveling when I have the $.

What advice would you offer a non-green person?
Buy recycled content paper products! There’s really no excuse and it’s not so cool that certain manufacturers haven’t gotten on this already! Better yet, use cloth napkins and microfiber cloths to clean.
Use a filter or buy a bobble, I mean really. For god sake don’t use bottled water!!! If you must buy into the “spring water” ploy make sure it really is spring water and buy it in bulk, aka large, reusable jugs.
Name a couple of your green actions.
I am always on the look out for eco-ista's and purveyors of excellent sustainable products, which I report about at thetruebluegreen.com. I also consume as much organic and local food as possible, and report on green happy hours at S-lush.com!
