Australian Scent - Caring for your Whole Body…

Some may say that I'm partial to Aussies since I married into an amazing Sicilian Australian familia. 

But this is not the case when I recently stumbled upon Australian Scent via Pure Citizen the hot eco shopping site. 

Australian Scent has created a great selection of products to suit various skin/body Care needs. I was mainly drawn to their "Balm of Gilead" for my eczema but found that I could make use of their many goodies to help keep my skin looking and  feeling healthy from head to toe. 

We had the pleasure of meeting Eddie 1/2  of the Australian Scent this past weekend at Brooklyn Flea and got to experience his knowledge and excitement while sharing the Aussie lifestyle vibe as he to is married to an Aussie.

"Balm of Gilead"

I have tried so many moisturizers that I have lost count but this one is at top of my list.  I found that the "Balm of Gilead" light weight, no greasy and long lasting.

Formulated to hydrate and smooth the complexion, whilst balancing the skins' texture. Being a city resident I found the "Cleansing Stream" perfect for getting the grime

Australia by a true blue Aussie and her American husband. Australian Scent is now based in 

New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.  Specializing in 100% organically crafted, small batch, cold processed formulas that maximize the nutritional and healing properties of the raw materials utilized. 

In 2004, whilst living in Australia, Megan’s husband, Eddie, was diagnosed with psoriasis which severely affected his eyes and neck areas. (Raccoon comes to mind). After realizing the
prescribed treatments may cause blindness, they pursued natural alternatives.  On a desperate quest to terminate the enemy, they dabbled in every commercial and extraordinary concoction available, all with disappointing results.  Everything they encountered was whipped and diluted with water, alcohol and chemicals, all haling a natural purity.  Needless to say, these products proved ineffective.
