g=9.8 - Saving Mankind While Wearing Sexy Lingerie...

French  designer Sophie Young of g=9.8 creates sexy lingerie made of white pine trees. 

Sophie is extremely ecologically-minded  as she practices the 3 “R's”. 

1.  Reduces (the consumption: her clothes are made to last)

2.  Recycles (the fibers of the pine trees she uses) and 

3.  Reuses (everything she can).

Architect in her first life, she’d always been aware of the eco thing but really started

thinking about it when she had her first child. Her little boy being

allergic to many things, she had no other choice but to pay attention to

what his food and the environment around him. Sophie is full of energy and ideas: does her own

composting, has no bath-tub at home, collects the rain-water, only eats 

vegetables and fruits in season. When sending out her lingerie, she recycles cardboard boxes that

she collects in the near-by industrial park.

Sophie says, ”We don’t have time anymore to talk about it. Now it’s time to act. In fact the

message that’s been delivered for the past 15 years which is not correct . It is not “save

the planet” but to “save manhood”. The planet will probably survive even though its

future inhabitants will only be little cells that don’t need air to live. That should

motivate everybody, no?

The earth will not make it without our daily green actions and the education, starting

with the youngest ones, is essential."
