A day of environmental friendly entertainment, exhibits, celebrity performers, and speakers, New York's
ECOFEST will take place in Central Park on October 4th from 11 am to 6 pm.
Schedule highlights:
SEOTO (Sources of Energy Other Than Oil) Alternative Fuels Display) will showcase futuristic looking prototypes of alternative-energy vehicles (from solar-powered, electric, natural gas, ethanol, hybrid or fuel cell models) on 62nd street. The models are already in use by private businesses and many New York City and New York State Agencies.
The ECOFASHION SHOW will feature collections made of 100% organic and recycled material on the World Solar Stage.
The ECOFEST ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE will have seminars led by renowned experts on key environmental issues
