Via Queen Anne Review: by Laura
You may be familiar with the Little Free Library program, which has a mission of promoting literacy and the love of reading via free book exchanges worldwide. These little libraries have been popping up all over the city, and to-date, Queen Anne has only had one that we’ve seen (and per the Little Free Library map).
Michelle Nash is the steward of the Little Free Library at 2129 2nd Ave W, and it’s been up for a while – but a new one has been spotted on the other side of Queen Anne Ave N! It’s just starting out, and has a mix of adult and children’s books, including books by Michael Chabon and Flannery O’Conner for adults, and “Harriet the Spy” and the Dr. Suess classic “Hop on Pop” for younger readers!
The new Little Free Library is located near the intersection of McGraw and 1stAve N – check it out and support libraries of all shapes & sizes!
