Organic by John Patrick is always on point and continues to prove that girls and guys can look modern and chic while doing right by planet earth. The Organic presentation was by far the best of the eco and non-eco and represents where we are headed as a society merging, past, present and future toward a harmonious utopia.
I also have to mention the brilliant idea of John Patrick having local farmers setup to share their goods with the fashion set and yes the yummie treats where devoured by all. Let's hope the non-eco fashion brands will get their frocks in order and get with the program to slay global warming...

Here's the highlight of my ecosation(Green conversation) with John Patrick;
Eco Hustler: What's the feelin' for this season's collection?
John Patrick: The years 1910-2010 and the emergence of the New.
Eco Hustler: Was there any special eco-fabrics used?
John Patrick: Lots of innovative recycled + organic fabrics.
Org. Velvet. Org. Wool.

Eco Hustler: Having the local farmers there sharing their goods was a really
nice touch. How do you want people to remember this experience?
John Patrick: I want people to look at everything with respect + appreciation. And I am honored that Severine Fleming +
www.thegreenhorns.netThe Hudson Valley Seed Library and
The Amazing Real Live Food Co. felt it to come out and show their support.
I am taking away from it a new found respect for our food.
Eco Hustler: Have you expanded your line since spring 09'?
John Patrick: Nah. Its about the same. We can't make too much stuff.

Eco Hustler: What advice would you offer a non-green person?
John Patrick: I would suggest a trip to a local book store that is independently owned and buy anything by
Michael Pollan.
And 2nd a trip to
GRDN on HOYT st. In Brooklyn and see all of the neat plants she has.
And third buy a share in a
CSA. Community supported agriculture is where its at.
