I have an amazing idea for a male and female fragrance that I have done mock up images that consumers will know that it's eco straight away. The styling, name, images are on point and will appeal to eco or non-eco consumers....

I disagree.-;) People that are already aware maybe. But to attract a consumer that comes from a contemporary market it's a total turn off and does not make me want to go anywhere near this brand.

I love Herban Cowboy... they've been around for a long time, making great soaps and other men body care products. They totally changed their packaging, but their customers remember them from when they were just Herban Cowboy, with some great "western" styles imagery. I don't mind the word. I can understand where you might feel it might be a hindrance to building a strong brand image, but look at Treehugger, look at EcoHookUps, sometimes if you try to hide the green too deep into eco-luxe subtleties, it misses the mark because the growing green product audience never finds it. I like their style, it's cool... but I agree about their photography... heck all they have to do is hang out at www.ModelMayhem.com for a few hours, and they're going to find so much extraordinary talent to draw from, amateurish imagery like this one is unforgivable.
