Rent A Living Christmas Tree, Yes Really...

A Living Christmas Company has come up with a dope and caring way of having a live Christmas tree delivered to your home this holiday season. Bad news is that this service is only available in Cali but let's hope this will change by next year's holiday season.

RENT A LIVING TREE THIS CHRISTMAS and have
a live, potted tree delivered to your doorstep. It's fun, it's easy, and it's great for your home and the environment. Simply choose one of our varieties of locally-grown trees and we’ll deliver it to your home or business. After Christmas we will pick up your tree and return it to our nursery until next year. You can even watch your tree grow as your family grows by adopting the same tree year-after-year.

Our trees are alive, in a pot with their roots, and growing. This means we can delivery the tree to you and pick-up after the holidays. The tree then goes back to our nursery, where it continues growing until next year. Not every tree is suitable for rental year after year. Those that do not make the cut (no pun intended) are donated to a tree planting organization or become part of an Urban Reforestation Project. After about 7 years, the trees grow too large to rent and are taken out to pasture (we mean planted) to become big, beautiful trees.

How do I rent a living tree?
It's simple! Select the type and size of tree you would like to have. There are a variety of trees to choose from and we have included pictures and descriptions to help you choose. Prices include delivery and pick-up in designated zones. Each order includes a watering tray to protect your floors.

Select the area you live in and request available time slots for deliveries in that area. Although we cannot guarantee your request, we will do our best to accommodate you. We can provide some out of the area deliveries, for an additional fee, if we can have a full truck going that direction. Charges will apply if we are not able to leave the tree at the confirmed time and location. We ask for your cooperation to keep the process as efficient and ecological as possible.

Love thy tree! Choose a flat surface away from heaters and fireplaces and water your tree every couple days. The trees do best when they are given a name and sang to regularly. Remember that your tree is alive and in its infancy, your 6 year-old tree will someday grow to be 70 or 100 years old with the right love and attention!
