SMARTFISH handmade footwear and thought I would share with the ladies.
I am sure you all need a classic shoe that is cute enough for you while out beautifying those mean streets.
SMARTFISH handmade footwear can be paired with anything from, denim, dresses and shorts, etc...
SMARTFISH footwear is handmade, and completely sustainable. Shoes are created without the use of any adhesives, and are 100% vegan.
Upper: Durable natural brown hemp canvas.
Outsoles: Mixture of natural latex and sawdust, hand-poured into molds made by Alisha.
Insoles: Salvaged cork, that has been coated with natural latex, for added durability. Insoles are removable, so that shoes may be turned inside out and hand-washed.
Lining: Organic bamboo, hand-dyed using low-impact fiber reactive dyes. Bamboo is naturally breathable, odor-absorbing, and anti-bacterial.
Construction: All dying, cutting, sizing, patterning, hand-detailing, and outsole molding is hand done by Alisha. Final construction is done using an industrial sewing machine. Outsoles are sewn by Alisha, after training from a local cobbler, and use of one of his machines. All construction is done with a focus on durability.
