Well a beer festival may not be my thing the solar powered part is what captured my attention as well as the dedication of
Craft Lager Festival, Inc. a non-profit organization staffed by volunteers that are non-salaried and donate thousands of volunteer hours to this event. Craft Lager Festival 2009 is the world's first solar-powered craft beer fest, happening next month in Manitou Springs, Colorado Aug. 8th and 9th 2009 1pm to 6pm.
The CLF started this event to benefit open space and parks in our local communities, host a fun event for the community, and support the remarkable art of craft brewing. This year's theme is "Drink a beer, save a tree", can you dig it?
