"Tear The Roof Off The Motha' Sucka"! Well not really these speakers are a lil' small for such an amazing feat but the craftsmanship and sound quality are not to be challenged. The Pioneer S-A4SPT-PMs"Pure Malt Speakers" are made from old wooden whiskey barrels so they do have Eco-flare and I also know that they have been out for a minute but I have been so lost in the sound and keep forgetting to share them with you.
The engineers at Pioneer found that solid oak wood from whiskey barrels had great acoustic properties. The wood from these barrels had a mature mellow tone that when flattened out made a great finished speaker. The speakers are made from oak that has spent approximately 50 years helping mature whiskey. This mature aged wood shows in the quality of sound and craftsmanship of the speaker and no I did not drink the whiskey to just get the wood used to make them. hahaha
