Up Yo Nose - Nautica's New Eco-Friendly Fragrance

It's always dope to smell some good in this world, even if it comes from a bottle. Nautica is off to a great start but let's hope that their Ecoisms find it's way into other Nautica divisions aside from just a couple of organic cotton tee shirts...

Ecologically Friendly Fragrance
Nautica has created it's first ecologically friendly fragrance, Nautica Oceans. Exclusive breakthhrough fragrance technology and a long-lasting, biodegradable water-based formula combine for a fragrance that is kinder to the environment and to your skin.
Biodegradability is defined quite simply: the amount of your “organic material” (i.e., your rose absolute, synthetic coumarin and so on) that converts to carbon dioxide when exposed to air, water and common bacteria. The O.E.C.D., to define a product as “readily biodegradable,” demands an 80 percent conversion. Nautica Oceans got 100 percent.
Nautica Oceans' formula was subjected to “torture testing” to assess stability; Oceans was frozen and thawed five times, and recovered perfectly. It lasted as long as alcohol-based fragrances. And Oceans moisturized the skin rather than drying it, as alcohol does. Spraying it on is slightly surprising; it comes out less atomized. Otherwise the application is identical.
The Packaging
The environmentally-friendly outer carton is 100% recyclable and made from 30% post consumer recycled content and manufactured using wind power in a carbon neutral facility.
A portion of the proceeds benefit Oceana, a global conservation charity whose mission is to protect the world's oceans.
