Revolution Fitness in Santa Monica California know have the Green Spinner NXT Bike that transports all that energy you're generating from your workout right back to the gym's power supply.
I'm sure you've yet to experience a workout that powers the gym.
How it works; in every spin class one of the new Green Spinner NXT stationary bike is now getting attached to a pretty good-sized battery, to be juiced up by all that energy you are generating.
For the moment, it's just the one bike in every class (but you can reserve it in advance), the owners are just getting started—ultimately they say they'd love to make Revolution BYOB (bring your own battery), so one day you might be able to bottle up your workout to power anything you like.
